About Karen Fabrics
Where Ideas Become Fabric.
Our story
Karen Fabrics has made textiles in 10th of Ramadan City, Egypt, since 2015. We print, cut, sew and finish in our own factory, so every design travels from screen to fabric under one roof.
We make far more than curtains: women's fashion and kidswear, sportswear, uniforms, t-shirts and polos, flags, and gifts made from fabric, alongside home textiles. Our online store opens with printed curtains and our other ranges follow, as we bring our work to the Gulf, the UK and the US.
Why we make it ourselves
Owning production is a choice, not a shortcut. It lets us control the colour of every print, the finish of every seam and the time your order takes. It also means we can make a curtain to your exact size when a standard pair will not do. When you order from us, you are ordering from the people who make it.
Our fabrics
We choose each fabric for the job it has to do:
- Curtains: velvet for deep colour, chenille for a soft, warm texture, and matte canvas for the sharpest print.
- T-shirts and polos: combed-cotton jersey in regular and heavy weights, cotton-elastane stretch jersey, interlock, and piqué for polos.
- Hoodies and winter sets: brushed fleece, known in Egypt as Milton, for hoodies and for women's and kids' winter sets; plus two-thread fleece.
- Sportswear: lightweight polyester sports knit and fine close mesh.
- Fashion: chiffon and satin.
Made to last
Because we make every order ourselves, each piece passes through our hands before it ships. Take our curtains: the grommet heading uses high-quality snap-in rings that will not rust in the wash and can be replaced one at a time, not pressed-in metal eyelets.
